Vortex panels are no longer sold under the Vortex brand. Techno-Solis manufactured Vortex panels as a private-label product and handles potential qualifying Vortex warranty replacements directly with homeowners. We previously sold Vortex products but did not manufacture them.

Think Your Vortex Panel May Be Under Warranty?​

All warranty review, eligibility decisions, approved replacement pricing and warranty-panel transactions are handled directly between Techno-Solis and the Vortex customer. DIY Solar Pool Heater Kits does not approve or process Vortex warranty claims.

Techno-Solis needs to verify the original purchase, the Vortex panel, the failure and supporting documentation before determining eligibility.

For qualifying Vortex warranty replacements, Techno-Solis may provide replacement panels at 50% off MSRP, subject to verification and eligibility. This is not an automatic discount for every Vortex owner or a discount applied to our retail prices.

Need to Buy a Vortex Replacement Panel?​

We can help you identify and purchase compatible Techno-Solis panels if your Vortex panel is outside warranty, a claim does not qualify or cannot be verified, or you simply prefer to purchase replacement panels normally. You do not need to pursue a warranty claim before buying a replacement.

How Vortex Warranty Replacements Work​

Techno-Solis reviews the original purchase, panel, failure and supporting documents, determines eligibility and completes any approved warranty-panel transaction directly with you. Gather the purchase records, label photos and information about the failure that you have; Techno-Solis will tell you what documentation it needs.

If your request qualifies, Techno-Solis may offer replacement panels at 50% off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). Ask Techno-Solis to confirm the approved price, any other charges and the warranty terms that apply to the replacement before proceeding.

​

If you originally purchased your Vortex panels through DIY Solar Pool Heater Kits, contact us with your order details. We can check our available records to help locate purchase information. This assistance does not determine or guarantee warranty eligibility.

We remain available for panel identification, normal replacement-panel purchases, connecting and mounting hardware, plumbing, additional panels and installation assistance. These purchases and services are separate from the manufacturer’s warranty process.

Can a Vortex Solar Pool Panel Be Replaced?

 

In many cases, yes.

​

A leaking or damaged Vortex panel does not necessarily require replacing the entire solar pool heating system. Depending on the panel dimensions, header size, connection method and condition of the remaining system, it may be possible to replace only the damaged panel.

​

Techno-Solis solar pool panels are available in several common configurations and may provide a replacement option for certain Vortex installations.

​

Compatibility must be confirmed before ordering. A similar panel width or length does not automatically guarantee that the panel will connect properly to your existing system.

Information Needed to Identify Your Replacement Panel

 

To help us determine the correct replacement option, please provide:

  • Your name, telephone number and email address

  • The address or ZIP code where the replacement panel will be shipped

  • The number of panels that need to be replaced

  • The approximate age of the existing system

  • The panel width and overall length

  • The model number, if visible

  • The inside and outside diameter of the panel header

  • Clear photographs of the complete panel

  • Close-up photographs of the header connections

  • Photographs of the damaged or leaking area

  • A photograph showing the entire panel array

  • Your original order number, if the panels were purchased from us

 

Accurate measurements and photographs are important. Vortex systems were sold in different panel sizes and header configurations.

Common Vortex Panel Sizes

 

Vortex solar pool panels were offered in several configurations, including:

​

  • Approximately 4 × 8 feet

  • Approximately 4 × 10 feet

  • Approximately 4 × 12 feet

  • Panels with nominal 1.5-inch headers

  • Panels with nominal 2-inch headers

  • VT32+, VT40+ and VT48+ configurations

 

Always measure the actual panel and header before ordering. Product names and nominal measurements alone should not be used to confirm compatibility.

What If Only One Panel Is Leaking?

 

If the remaining panels are still in good condition, replacing one damaged panel may be more economical than replacing the entire system.

​

However, complete system replacement may be worth considering when:

​

  • Several panels are leaking or becoming brittle

  • The panels have experienced repeated failures

  • Replacement panels cannot be connected reliably

  • The existing mounting hardware is deteriorated

  • The system contains several different panel styles

  • The system is no longer heating the pool effectively

What If My Vortex Panel Cannot Be Replaced Directly?

 

A different panel may still be usable with the appropriate connecting hardware or plumbing modifications.

Possible solutions may include:

  • Replacing an entire row of panels

  • Using transition plumbing between different header configurations

  • Updating the panel connecting and mounting hardware

  • Replacing the complete collector array while retaining usable plumbing and controls

 

The safest option depends on the panel size, header dimensions, roof layout, plumbing arrangement and condition of the existing system.

Who manufactured Vortex solar pool panels?

 

Techno-Solis manufactured Vortex panels as a private-label product. Vortex panels are no longer sold under the Vortex brand. Techno-Solis now handles potential qualifying Vortex warranty replacements directly with homeowners.

Can I register an old Vortex panel for a Techno-Solis warranty?

 

Requesting a Vortex warranty review does not register your panel as a new Techno-Solis product or transfer its historical warranty. Follow Techno-Solis’s instructions for the Vortex warranty review.

Submitting the form is a request for review, not an approval of warranty coverage.

Will a Techno-Solis panel connect to my existing Vortex panels?

 

It may, depending on the panel dimensions, header size and connection method. Compatibility must be confirmed using measurements and photographs before ordering.
