Vortex Solar Pool Panel Warranty & Replacement Information

Help for Vortex Solar Pool Heater Owners Looking for Warranty Support, Repairs or Replacement Panels

If you own a Vortex solar pool heating system and are looking for warranty registration, warranty claim assistance or replacement panels, this page explains the options currently available.

Vortex solar pool panels and systems are no longer being produced under the Vortex brand. Because the former Vortex supplier has ceased operations, factory warranty registration, replacement parts and warranty-claim support may be limited or unavailable.

Solar Buyers Club LLC and DIYSolarPoolHeaterKits.com do not manufacture Vortex products and cannot transfer a Vortex warranty to another manufacturer. However, we may be able to help you identify a suitable replacement panel or determine whether your existing system can remain in service.

Looking for a Vortex Warranty Registration or Claim Form?

The Vortex warranty registration and warranty-claim forms previously available through this website are no longer active.

Please do not use a Techno-Solis warranty form to register a Vortex panel or submit a Vortex warranty claim. Techno-Solis warranty coverage applies only to qualifying Techno-Solis products.

If you originally purchased your Vortex panels or system through DIYSolarPoolHeaterKits.com, contact us with your original order information. We will review the available records and explain what assistance may still be possible.

Please understand that assistance from DIYSolarPoolHeaterKits.com does not guarantee approval or payment of a factory warranty claim.

Can a Vortex Solar Pool Panel Be Replaced?

In many cases, yes.

A leaking or damaged Vortex panel does not necessarily require replacing the entire solar pool heating system. Depending on the panel dimensions, header size, connection method and condition of the remaining system, it may be possible to replace only the damaged panel.

Techno-Solis solar pool panels are available in several common configurations and may provide a replacement option for certain Vortex installations.

Compatibility must be confirmed before ordering. A similar panel width or length does not automatically guarantee that the panel will connect properly to your existing system.

Information Needed to Identify Your Replacement Panel

To help us determine the correct replacement option, please provide:

  • Your name, telephone number and email address

  • The address or ZIP code where the replacement panel will be shipped

  • The number of panels that need to be replaced

  • The approximate age of the existing system

  • The panel width and overall length

  • The model number, if visible

  • The inside and outside diameter of the panel header

  • Clear photographs of the complete panel

  • Close-up photographs of the header connections

  • Photographs of the damaged or leaking area

  • A photograph showing the entire panel array

  • Your original order number, if the panels were purchased from us

Accurate measurements and photographs are important. Vortex systems were sold in different panel sizes and header configurations.

[SUBMIT PANEL PHOTOS AND MEASUREMENTS]

Common Vortex Panel Sizes

Vortex solar pool panels were offered in several configurations, including:

  • Approximately 4 × 8 feet

  • Approximately 4 × 10 feet

  • Approximately 4 × 12 feet

  • Panels with nominal 1.5-inch headers

  • Panels with nominal 2-inch headers

  • VT32+, VT40+ and VT48+ configurations

Always measure the actual panel and header before ordering. Product names and nominal measurements alone should not be used to confirm compatibility.

What If Only One Panel Is Leaking?

If the remaining panels are still in good condition, replacing one damaged panel may be more economical than replacing the entire system.

However, complete system replacement may be worth considering when:

  • Several panels are leaking or becoming brittle

  • The panels have experienced repeated failures

  • Replacement panels cannot be connected reliably

  • The existing mounting hardware is deteriorated

  • The system contains several different panel styles

  • The system is no longer heating the pool effectively

We can help you compare individual-panel replacement with partial or complete system replacement.

What If My Vortex Panel Cannot Be Replaced Directly?

A different panel may still be usable with the appropriate connecting hardware or plumbing modifications.

Possible solutions may include:

  • Replacing one or more panels with compatible dimensions

  • Replacing an entire row of panels

  • Using transition plumbing between different header configurations

  • Updating the panel connecting and mounting hardware

  • Replacing the complete collector array while retaining usable plumbing and controls

The safest option depends on the panel size, header dimensions, roof layout, plumbing arrangement and condition of the existing system.

Do not order a panel based only on appearance. Contact us before purchasing if compatibility has not been confirmed.

Is Vortex still manufacturing solar pool panels?

Vortex solar pool panels are no longer being produced under the Vortex brand, and former factory support may no longer be available.

Can I register an old Vortex panel for a Techno-Solis warranty?

No. Techno-Solis warranty registration is only for qualifying Techno-Solis products.

Can I submit a Vortex warranty claim through the Techno-Solis claim form?

No. A Vortex product should not be submitted as a Techno-Solis warranty claim.

It may, depending on the panel dimensions, header size and connection method. Compatibility must be confirmed using measurements and photographs before ordering.

Important Notice

Product compatibility must be verified before purchase. References to Vortex are provided solely to help owners identify their existing solar pool heating equipment and evaluate possible repair or replacement options.

Vortex and Techno-Solis are separate product brands. Warranty coverage, terms and eligibility are determined by the manufacturer responsible for the specific product. A replacement product from another manufacturer does not assume or transfer the original Vortex warranty.
