Controller APPLICATION Selection Guidelines
• All Control Packages provide effortless fully-automatic pool temperature control. Simply set the desired temperature and the controller turns the solar heated water on and off when sufficient solar energy is available.
• All controller units have LED lights to show when the solar system is operating.
• Package #3, #4, #5, and #6 are upgraded with digital readouts that display the precise pool temperature, the solar panel sensor temperature, and outside air temperature [requires additional sensor].
• Package #3, #4, #5, and #6 are also upgraded with self diagnostics which actually signal an alert to any problems.
• Package #4, #5 and #6 have all the above features plus an integrated timer that activates the pool pump for maximum solar gain and reduced power costs.
• Package #5 has pool/spa automation
• Package #6-S has a standard 3-Way Valve
• Package #6-D same as #6-S; Plus has an exclusive 3-way solar valve that automatically drains the solar collectors when pump is off to help prevent unsafe stagnant water.
