Roof Tech RT-MINI II with AlphaSeal™ and Two Mounting Screws
The RT-MINI II is a low-profile residential roof-mounting base featuring Roof Tech’s self-flashing AlphaSeal™ technology. It is designed for sloped asphalt shingle, metal, EPDM and TPO roofing systems and can be used with a variety of compatible mounting hardware.
The base supports several installation methods, including direct rafter mounting, deck mounting and offset rafter mounting. Optional 5 x 90 mm stainless steel wood screws are available for rafter-mounted applications where additional reach is required.
Each RT-MINI II includes two roof-mounting screws. The base can accommodate up to six mounting screws, depending on the roof structure and attachment method. Additional screws are sold separately.
The RT-MINI II is installed with wood screws and does not normally require pilot holes, helping reduce installation time and avoid disturbing the seal between asphalt shingles. Its integrated AlphaSeal™ flexible flashing creates a waterproof barrier at the attachment point when installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
The mounting system is engineered to withstand wind speeds up to 180 mph and ground snow loads up to 90 PSF. It is certified by the International Code Council under ICC-ESR 3575 and is Florida Product Approved for High-Velocity Hurricane Zone applications. Stamped professional engineering letters are also available for many U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
