Polyester Woven Strap

Polyester Woven Strap is used for fastening solar pool heater panels to your roof or rack. The hold-down straps are highly recommended especially in windy conditions. 

A typical solar panel roof kit should look like the diagram image above when finished.  It may vary based on the actual layout.

The bottom strap is always located 12" above the bottom header. The remaining strap[s] are equally spaced between the bottom strap and the top header. On each row end the strap is threaded back through the inside slot of the Clip as show above. Before threading the strap back through, pull the strap to apply tension [approximately 2" to 6" elongation]. Tie a knot to secure the strap. After the system is installed for several weeks or even months, the straps may need to be retensioned; this is due to expansion of the strap in warmer weather.
